Our agent services representatives can assist you with accounting issues, supplier issues, and anything else you may need to give your customers the very best service - all at no charge. By the way, unlike other companies, we don't nickel and dime you for the calls. You are encouraged to call in on our toll-free lines.

We offer our own Cruise and Resort Authorized Agent ID cards, and IATA ID cards upon agent qualification. Beyond the benefits generally offered to cardholders, our agents often receive much more from our preferred suppliers. Our agent rates and FAM rates are frequently lower than those offered to even the owners of large agencies! Cruise for as low as $50 per day on some of the best cruises! Vacation at some of the world's top resorts for 50% - 85% off the rack rates! Our benefits are superior because the travel suppliers know our representatives are true salespeople!

   TRAINING
     
We go the extra mile! Serious salespeople need serious training - more than you can get in a pamphlet. We spend considerably more money training our independent sales agents than they pay to join our team. All new agents are asked to attend three full days of individual and group training at our headquarters office. Cruise and Resort management will host you, and introduce you to representatives from cruise lines, tour companies and resorts. Cruise and Resort does not charge anything extra for the intensive training, but we cannot provide the transportation and hotel costs. We can assist you in offering low rates at nearby hotels.

   GREAT POTENTIAL TAX BENEFITS
     
As long as you can demonstrate sales efforts and results, you should be eligible for income tax benefits. As an independent agent for Cruise and Resort, you are responsible for your own taxes. We do not make tax deductions from your commission checks. See your tax advisor for specific details on how you might achieve significant tax savings as a result of your travel business.

Agents will be provided with a variety of marketing tools to assist them in their sales efforts. Direct mail, e-mail and print advertising support are available. Additionally, you can provide your clients with Cruise and Resort Magazine at a substantially reduced cost.

Destination presentations are amazing opportunities to learn about the destinations you sell. These gatherings show you the best hotels, attractions, restaurants and culture in a fabulous resort city or town. Our independent agent programs are simple and direct. We don't attempt to trick you with higher than possible commissions, and then charge you hidden fees on everything else. We want you to earn money because that's the only way we can make money. We help you every step of the way!

   NO MONTHLY MAINTENANCE FEES
     
We don't charge you a dime for errors and omissions insurance, Help Desk support, marketing advice and assistance, or Intranet communication. (Some agencies charge you $100 a month or more for these services.)

   TECHNOLOGY
     
You will have access to the very best technology, from the best CRS systems to proprietary booking software allowing you to spend less time with detail work, and more time doing what you do best - Selling! All agents are provided with a Cruise and Resort e-mail address. Depending on your needs, your technology costs should be somewhere between $10 and $45 per month.

   EFFICIENCY
     
Probably more than any other company, we emphasize agent efficiency. We know that salespeople make more money when they spend less time with the detail work. To make that happen, we do much of the work for you. You don't need to create a mail center; we already have one. We send out all client documents from our office. Our accounting department receives handles and reconciles all client payments, and makes sure that the correct amount is sent to the travel suppliers. You are provided detailed commission reports, and your earned commissions are sent to you on a monthly basis. Cruise and Resort operates on a team approach. Although we believe strongly in the independent agent concept, we don't believe our agents should ever have to stand alone!

If you truly care about your customers/clients, you need to be concerned about the agency you are associated with. Cruise and Resort is built on a very strong foundation. Its president, Tony Adler, has served on many top industry advisory boards, and has provided consulting services to some of the largest hospitality firms. Tony and Kristy Adler founded Cruise Fairs Of America in 1988. After building it into a vacation powerhouse, they eventually merged it into Travel Services International, creating the world's largest cruise-selling company. Tony Adler has been active in consumer protection legislation, and served as treasurer for the State of California's Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation. Cruise and Resort does not accept all independent agent applicants. We do background and credit checks. We are selective about who we associate with, which makes our entire organization positively stand out within the travel industry. We are proud of our high standards. Cruise and Resort is never confused with the "card mills" in our industry. Agents are not automatically renewed every year. Renewal rates are based on productivity. We don't just talk about professionalism; we live it!
